New Years Day we headed out with Grammy, Pa, Esie, and N for our traditional New Years Day Chinese dinner and then headed off to Zoo Lights. It just seems like such a nice way to start of the first day of the new year. We had missed last year because C was only 6 months and both kids had been pretty sick (as usual). M was really excited to go and she kept telling C all about what he would see. Many new light displays had been added since the last time we had gone to Zoo Lights. We all had such a great time we decided to walk the zoo twice!

Mike pulled C and M in the wagon and neither one of them tried to get out. They were so excited to see the lights and they were so adorable all bundled up together. Seeing them together like that made me realize what great friends they have become.
