Our Water Boy...
Bwoo...
That's how C says his name, but any way you say equals a whole lot of lovin'. Blue came to our family a slender 63 pound dog, and now, well we are not sure because we are afriad to take him to the vet cause we know we are going to get yelled at. Really, poor Blue does not get table food (unless he steals it from the pantry) or treats (unless C drops something). Although, a few pounds ;) ain't stopping him from keeping up with the kids.
Blue is a total water dog, he can't get enough of it. C loves to water with the hose and you will always find Blue right there with him, getting in the way!
Blue is a great family dog. He loves to be outside with the kids and watches over them.
You go Blue!

Good News...
The GOOD NEWS is C does not have any hearing loss from all his ear infections and currently does not have any fluid in his ears! C still has not been talking much and he is almost 2. So we decided to take him to an ENT to have his ears looked at and his hearing tested. I knew he was understanding us as he follows directions very well (when he wants too!), but I just needed to hear it from a doctor.

Hoppy Easter...
Guess who hopped by our house early this morning, the Big Bunny! He left big baskets with lots of candy, a few presents, and hid Easter eggs. Boy did we have two very excited kids on our hands.
In the afternoon we went to Grandma's house to hang out with family and have lunch. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and hunting for more Easter eggs. For dinner we met Grammy, Pa, Esie, and Nellie at our favorite Chinese food restaurant and then went back to their house for another Easter egg hunt.

That's My Guy...
Our little tree huger! Every time I see this picture it makes me smile and think "bitter beer face".
C's loves to be outside and play with the hose. I swear one day he might just be a firefighter!
We had a big rain storm this morning that left a lot of water behind. So once it cleared up outside, C and I went to play outside while M and daddy went to a birthday party. He had a blast playing in the puddles, he is such a boy!
I absolutely love this picture. It is always amazing seeing him experience things for the first time!

Left Foot Left Foot ...
M is so proud of herself, not only can she read the Foot Book, but she read it to her entire Kindergarten class. So being the mom that I am, of course we had to take pictures to remember this special accomplishment.
For it being the middle of April, the weather has been unusually cool. This morning it was pouring out. Even thought it was raining we still decided to take M to her soccer game, thinking it would let up by the time we got there. No luck, it started raining so hard they called the game. However by noon, the rain was mostly gone. Thank goodness, because she was going to her FRIEND WESTON'S birthday party. She really likes Weston :)
It's hard to believe that we are coming to the end of her first year in school. She has grown up so much over the year. Definitely not a baby anymore and oh the attitude! But she will always be my baby girl.

Spring Soccer Begins...
Welcome to the Stingrays soccer team, yes Stingray's. The team shirts are navy and that's what we came up with (I was the only one that liked the Sharks). Well, I guess it was better than Blueberry Pancakes, yes one of the girls was definitely hungry when she yelled that name out. M and her friends entered a new age group in soccer, so now they play with a goalie and boy is that fun to watch.
The morning of the first game was pretty cool. Don't you just love her outfit! That's my little fashionista!
This season she's the lucky number "7".
Wow, what a fierce look on her face. You would think from these pictures that she hustles after the ball, lol. Actually M is not a real fierce competitor, she still has a hard time taking the ball away from others, but when some one takes it away from her she gets pretty ticked.
Ain't he just cute hanging, watching the game, eating his sisters half time snack. He likes to go to the games to see the other kids, but he likes to run onto the field during the game. One day Little Buddy,it will be you out there!
Yes, M braved the goal! She did okay, but I think the other team did score on her. Heck, seeing 8 kids running down the field in my direction would intimidate me too! Nice try Tiger!
Here's to a nice, quick, not to hot, lots of fun, nice team picture season Stingrays!
